Oracle 19c New Features :
1) Oracle 19c no longer supports SE version of the RAC configuration.
2) MGMT DB (GIMR) has been changed to optional among RAC components.
3) When configuring RAC, you can select the OCR / Voting disk storage area as CFS.
4) The Leaf Node disappears from the components of the Flex Cluster and is configured as Hub Node.
5) Database Software Installation has been changed to Unzip $ORACLE_HOME Path and runInstaller as Grid Software did.
6) DB replication is possible using the DBCA-silent option. This allows simple duplication of PDB – CDB - Non CDB or RAC and Single.
7) A dry-run mode has been added to validate Grid (Clusterware) Upgrade. This enables pre-validation of the upgrade procedure without affecting the operating environment.
8) Zero-Downtime Oracle Grid Infrastructure Patching is supported.
9) Addnode.sh and clone.pl script have been discontinued.

Oracle Database Software License Policy :
Oracle's licensing policies are largely based on CPU and user. If a license is calculated on a CPU basis, a license is calculated on a separate basis for each product.
It is the same as MS SQL and policy. Regardless of the number of CPUs, only a single user is available. User data storage capacity is up to 4GB. It's free.
2) Oracle Personal Edition
Regardless of the number of CPUs, only a single user is available. Compatible with all Oracle Database product lines. A license that includes features of all products for individual users. It's in the $335 range. Personal can be purchased for Desktop equipment below the server level.
3) Oracle Standard Edition One (SE1)
CPU can be installed on a server that can scale up to two. RAC is not supported. Ideal for companies or organizations with fewer than 400 users. For large enterprises, it is appropriate for a single or independent business server. The minimum license, 5 User licenses, costs around $838 and process licenses, about $5027 million per CPU.
4) Oracle Standard Edition (SE)
It can be installed on servers that can scale up to four CPUs. Licenses for servers under 4 Processors that support clustering. The Min User Number is 5 and includes the RAC. It is suitable for businesses with fewer than 1,000 employees. There are limitations that can only be used on up to four Processors (CPUs) or up to eight cores. The minimum license, or $3350 for 5 User licenses, is $16750 per CPU for process licenses.
5) Oracle Enterprise Edition (EE)
More than four CPUs can be installed on a scalable server. Supports extreme performance and scalability, stability in OTLP, and decision making. There is no limit to the number of processors and the number of Min users is provided up to 25. RAC is an option and there is no limit to the size of the DB operation. The price is very high, and there are no special restrictions on use and function. It is mainly used when strong and stable databases such as large companies are required.
